Do I Buy, Then Sell Or Sell, Then Buy?
It is almost always better to sell before you buy. Why? It eliminates the financial risk of having to pay two mortgages plus taxes, insurance, and utilities on a second home. Additionally, unless you qualify for interim financing, your lender may require that you sell your home before granting financing on your new home. If the buyer makes an attractive offer and wants to close quickly, it’s usually less expensive to arrange for temporary housing while you wait to move into your new home.

ShowingTime Mobile App
Showings can often be inconvenient, especially if there is a lot of interest in your home. To make the process a little easier we arrange for our showings using the ShowingTime app. When an agent is done showing your home, you will receive a text telling you the coast is clear to return home. That may result in a few less ice creams out and longer evenings relaxing at home!

How Are Commissions Paid?
As a seller, you pay for the listing agent's services as a percentage commission, as specified in your listing contract. The buyer's agent is paid out of that fee.
An agent works without pay until your home sells, at a price and terms acceptable to you. The commission is paid when the contract closes and the home transfers from you to the buyer.
